There is very less construction around this place that prevents nature’s creation. Surrounded by large mountains, you feel like taking a dip in the middle of no-where. How to Reach There

The hot spring is located at Reykjafjörður that is a small fjord in Arnarfjörður. If you are coming from the town of Bíldudalur, drive north towards Þingeyri and Ísafjörður on route number 63. While driving on the same route, you will pass Reykjafjörður. At the end of the fjord, you will find Reykjafjarðarlaug hot spring.  The road between Bíldudalur and Þingeyri is open during summer season only so you can plan accordingly. Though a four-wheeler vehicle is not required to visit the place you will find gravel roads so driving by a 4WD would be more comfortable and safe. Reaching at this place via public transport is little bit hectic so prefer coming by your own car. No guided tours will take you to this swimming pool. 

To verify if you have reached the place or not, you can spot a beautiful blue swimming pool and a stream of water with shallow sitting pots behind the pool.  Around the area, you will find a couple of summer houses. While driving to this place, you will witness many historical structures and natural beauties. If you love to explore random places then you can make halts at these places to make your trip memorable.
