Itinerary
1. Pickup in Reykjavík
Your day begins with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Reykjavík. As you leave the city behind, you’ll quickly find yourself surrounded by Iceland’s dramatic landscapes—rolling farmlands, moss-covered lava fields, and views of distant glaciers setting the tone for the adventure ahead.

2. Seljalandsfoss Waterfall
The first stop is at the iconic Seljalandsfoss, a 60-meter tall waterfall with a hidden twist—you can walk behind the cascading water for a truly unique perspective. It’s the perfect photo opportunity and a refreshing way to kick off the day.

3. Skógafoss Waterfall
Next, we head to Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls. This mighty wall of water is 25 meters wide and creates a mist so thick it often forms rainbows. You can climb the staircase alongside it for sweeping views of the coast and highlands.

4. Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
We then make our way to the dramatic Reynisfjara beach, famous for its black volcanic sand, basalt column cliffs, and the striking Reynisdrangar sea stacks rising out of the Atlantic. This spot is a photographer’s dream and a must-see on the South Coast.

5. Journey into the Highlands
Leaving the crowds behind, we turn off the Ring Road and enter Fjallabak Nature Reserve. This is where the true adventure begins. With our specially modified Super Jeep, we drive along rugged trails, across glacial rivers, and into untouched volcanic landscapes.

6. Mt. Mælifell
Rising from a black sand desert like something out of a fantasy film, Mt. Mælifell is one of Iceland’s most surreal natural wonders. This green, cone-shaped volcano stands in stark contrast to the surrounding dark terrain, creating an unforgettable scene that few travelers ever get to witness.

7. Laufafell
Our next stop is Laufafell, a serene spot tucked between mossy hills and colorful rhyolite mountains. This peaceful area is known for its raw beauty and stillness, and it’s a great place to pause and breathe in the wilderness of the Highlands.

8. Álftavatn Lake
We continue to the tranquil shores of Álftavatn, a glassy lake nestled among rhyolite hills and part of the famous Laugavegur hiking trail. While most people spend days trekking here, your Super Jeep gives you the luxury of arriving comfortably in just a few hours.

9. Hidden Waterfalls and Photo Stops
Throughout the journey, your local guide will lead you to secret waterfalls and breathtaking viewpoints not marked on tourist maps. These are the true hidden gems—untouched by mass tourism and known only to those who venture deep into the Highlands.

10. Return to Reykjavík
After a full day of unforgettable sights and off-road exploration, we head back toward civilization. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the changing scenery as we make our way to Reykjavík, where you’ll be dropped off in the evening with a camera full of memories.
