- Arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tour.
- For environmental reasons, some tours may be conducted on a shared boat with one of our partners to reduce the number of vessels on the water.
- Whale watching and Northern Lights are subject to weather conditions. If either part of the combo tour is canceled due to weather, you may reschedule or receive a refund for the portion you missed.
- If one part of the tour is completed but the other is canceled, you’ll be charged only for the completed tour, with the price difference refunded.

- If you don’t see whales or the Northern Lights, you’ll have the opportunity to take the tour again for free.

You should schedule to be at our departure point at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure.
Please let us know if you want us to pick you up at your hotel.
Pick-ups must be booked with a minimum of one hour before the tour departure time, all pick-ups booked after that will be discarded.

Yes, you will go off the boat in Reykjavik between the whale watching part of the tour and the northern lights part.
We recommend that you walk around and explore the city & grab a dinner before you go on the northern lights hunt in the evening.
The northern lights part of the tour is operated on a boat as well as the whale watching part of the tour.
If the tour gets cancelled due to weather you can choose between rescheduling the tour for another departure or receiving a full refund.
Free cancellation up to 1 day before the tour. If you cancel within 1 day notice, a 100% fee will be charged.
However, we always ask you to cancel the tour as soon as possible so we can adjust the schedule for the day depending on how many people will be joining the tour.
Light snacks, sandwiches, coffee, tea, beer and soft drinks are sold onboard.
We have almost 100% sightings on this tour. However, if you don’t see whales on the tour you can reschedule the tour free of charge for the next available day.
Our northern lights experts take a very good look at the forecast for each night and therefor we have almost 100% sightings on this tour. If the northern lights forecast is not good for the evening, we will cancel the northern lights part of the tour and you can choose between rescheduling or getting a full refund.

This is, of course, a personal choice, we have often had pregnant women on our trips. This tour is listed as easy so if you do not feel uncomfortable on a boat, this tour should be ideal for you.
