Whale Watching and Seeing Puffins Closely
The complete tour will take approximately 3.5 hours that will make you see the beautiful whales and also the puffins too. On this tour, you will visit Puffin Island, where you will see the puffins with brightly colored bills, clumsy, wobbling walk, and watery eyes. Iceland is known as the home to more than 60% of the entire world’s Puffin population. It is a perfect birdwatching place, but one should respect nature and should not disturb the puffins. During mid-August, puffins leave Iceland and return at the end of April, therefor this tour is only available during summer.
Now moving on to the next destination, we will head towards the area where we will see the whales. Not only whales, but you will also see dolphins in the ocean too. You will get to see the spectacular species and amazing wildlife in Skjálfandi Bay. Apart from this, you will see humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, Minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, porpoises, and also, blue whales and fin whales, during the beginning of summers. Icelandic weather is completely unpredictable, so we will bring warm overalls and raincoats for you if needed. However, we recommend that you come prepared and wear warm clothes underneath the overalls that will protected from cold winds on The Atlantic Ocean.
