Remember to carry a swimsuit and towel to this tour if you want to bathe in the hot springs.

Itinerary of the tour
We will pick up you in Reykjavik, Selfoss or Hella (see pick up information here below). After your pick up you will have a scenic ride up to the highlands of Iceland and all the way to Landmannalaugar.
Your much-awaited adventure amidst the sky-blue lakes, caramel peaks, and Laugahraun lava fields will start from the main hut in Landmannalaugar. Your hiking adventure will go on for around four hours, during which you will encounter the beautiful topography of this place. The total hiking distance is about 8-10 km, the route for which goes over Laugahraun lava field, through Vondugil canyon, and up to Mt. Brennisteinsalda. Mt. Brennisteinsalda is a multi-coloured peak which is a popular characteristic of the area.
On your way down, you will come across Graenagil gorge, which translates to Green because of its dominant green colour due to the presence of rhyolite. We will summit Blahnukur Volcano, provided we have ample time in hand.
At last, we will end our day with a nice soak in the hot spring in Landmannalaugar and relish the spectacular surroundings of this phenomenal destination. The tour will be accompanied with a premium guiding service, and visitors are advised to bring along warm outdoor clothing including gloves and headwear, waterproof jackets, good hiking shoes, and their passion to explore!

pick up
For this tour we only offer three pick up locations in Reykjavik. You can get a pickup from Ráðhúsið (City Hall) on Vonarstræti, which lies right in front of the Reykjavik Tourist Information Center. You can also get a pickup at Hallgrimskirkja Church. Both those locations are centrally located in downtown Reykjavik. If you are staying at the campsite in Reykjavik, we also offer a pickup from there.
