Itinerary
Gullfoss Waterfall Meeting Point
Location: Head to the upper parking section of Gullfoss Waterfall via Road 35, where you’ll find the ‘Gullfoss – Panorama Restaurant – Cafe – Shop’. If you’ve parked in the lower area, return to the main road and turn uphill. You can also use this [Google Maps Link](insert link) for reference.
Meeting Time: Please ensure your arrival by 12:45 PM to kickstart your adventure punctually.
Identifying Vehicles: Look out for our white Mercedes Benz Bus with the distinctive Red Monster Bus graphic if the road away from Gullfoss is open. In the event of road closures and snow, watch for one of our Red Monster Glacier Trucks.
Langjökull Glacier Exploration
Commencement: After boarding the Sleipnir Monster Glacier Truck, take your pick of the comfortable seats as our remarkable adventure begins.
Journey to the Glacier: Our route to Langjökull, known as the ‘Long Glacier,’ presents ever-changing, breathtaking scenery. What was once a challenging journey has been made accessible and safe by our colossal Red Monster Glacier Truck.
Sonic Scenery: En route, immerse yourself in the sounds of Iceland through the melodic Icelandic tunes, enhancing your experience with panoramic window views. Scan the QR codes on your seats to create a unique Icelandic music playlist, a cherished memento.
Tales Along the Route: Throughout the journey, our knowledgeable team will regale you with captivating glacier facts and Icelandic folklore, making your trip as enlightening as the landscapes outside.
Journey into the Glacier’s Heart: Our Sleipnir team embarks each year to unveil a distinctive Natural Ice Cave in Langjökull, promising an unparalleled experience. Every cave is a unique masterpiece, evolving with each season. As you step inside, you’ll enter a fleeting wonder of nature, a masterpiece crafted by the glacier’s ever-shifting forces. Our dedicated local experts will guide you through these icy corridors.

- We do not have infant seats on the Monster Truck.
- Ice caves, a marvel of nature, are subject to changing weather conditions. Your safety is our utmost concern, and in unforeseen circumstances, the tour may need to be canceled on short notice. Please note that Ice Cave exploration may not be possible for safety reasons. In such instances, we are happy to provide alternative tour options, reschedule your date, or offer a full refund for your convenience.
