Itinerary
Departure
Embark on your Icelandic adventure from over 100 convenient pick-up locations scattered around the city or opt for Reykjavik Terminal/Bus Hostel. Feel the anticipation building for a day that promises unforgettable moments!
Thingvellir National Park
Your journey commences at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the historical seat of Iceland’s parliament from 930 to 1798. The area boasts a significant geological feature—the vast rift valley shaped by the mid-Atlantic ridge’s drift.
Geysir
Continue to the Geysir geothermal area, adorned with colorful deposits of yellow sulfur, red oxidized iron rocks, and light grey Silica deposits. Although the original Geysir slumbers, experience the spectacle of Strokkur erupting every 4-8 minutes, propelling water up to 40 meters high—a captivating display of nature’s power.
Gullfoss Waterfall
Marvel at Gullfoss, the ‘Golden Falls,’ as it plunges into a deep gorge, with the roaring sound and mist on your face creating an unforgettable experience. Occasionally, catch sight of rainbows dancing in the water spray.
Switch to the Monster Truck
Transition to the Monster Truck that will take you on the ICE Cave and Glacier Adventure. The Transfer bus is located at the upper Gullfoss parking space, directly opposite the ‘Gullfoss – Panorama Restaurant – Cafe – Shop.’

Explore the unique natural ice caves, shaped by the ever-changing glacier. Admire the glittering facets of crystal-clear ice, frozen black volcanic ash from ancient eruptions, and the subtle blue hues of denser ice, all products of Iceland’s dynamic volcanic activity. Inside the ice cave, discover glittering walls and a serene atmosphere, while outside, the expansive glacier and surrounding views provide a picturesque backdrop for photography enthusiasts.
Return to Gullfoss waterfall to reunite with your bus for the journey back to Reykjavik.

- We do not have infant seats on the Monster Truck.
- Note that you will be visiting a natural ice cave, which means that it is created by nature and it is constantly changing. The ice cave that you will visit might not look 100% like the one you see on the photos.
- Ice caves, a marvel of nature, are subject to changing weather conditions. Your safety is our utmost concern, and in unforeseen circumstances, the tour may need to be canceled on short notice. Please note that Ice Cave exploration may not be possible for safety reasons. In such instances, we are happy to provide alternative tour options, reschedule your date, or offer a full refund for your convenience.
