Itinerary
Meet & Greet in Seyðisfjörður
Your guide will pick you up either at the harbor or directly from your accommodation. After a quick briefing, you’ll hop into a sturdy 4×4 jeep and begin your adventure.

Explore the Northern Coastline
Drive along the wild, unpaved northern edge of Seyðisfjörður fjord, passing dramatic cliffs, lush valleys, and picturesque sheep farms. This remote coastline is home to fascinating stories of life in isolated East Iceland.

Abandoned & Active Farms
Stop to explore a couple of abandoned farms, frozen in time, and learn how people once lived here. You’ll also pass working farms where sheep still roam freely, maintaining ancient rural traditions.

Secret Waterfalls & Coastal Hikes
Visit stunning, little-known waterfalls hidden among the cliffs. Enjoy short hikes (optional) for even better views of the fjord and sea. If luck is on your side, keep an eye out for seals, seabirds, and perhaps a passing dolphin or whale.

Back to Seyðisfjörður
Return to the harbor or your hotel, with your camera full and heart full of memories from a truly off-the-beaten-path Icelandic experience.
