About Tour

Silfra is one of the most famous snorkeling destinations in the world, and it’s easy to see why. This natural wonder is located in Iceland’s Thingvellir National Park, and it’s the only place in the world where you can swim between two tectonic plates. The crystal-clear water, stunning underwater views, and unique geological formations make snorkeling in Silfra an unforgettable experience.

One of the first things you’ll notice when you arrive at Silfra is the color of the water. It’s a brilliant shade of blue that’s almost otherworldly. The water is so clear that you can see for over 100 meters, and the visibility is truly incredible. You’ll feel like you’re swimming in a giant aquarium, surrounded by fish and plants that seem to glow in the sunlight.

Snorkeling in Silfra is an incredible experience that’s not to be missed. The combination of crystal-clear water, stunning underwater views, and unique geological formations make this a one-of-a-kind adventure that you’ll remember for a lifetime. Itinerary

The snorkeling itself is easy, and you don’t need to be an experienced swimmer to enjoy the experience. You’ll be wearing a dry suit, which will keep you warm and dry, and a mask and snorkel, which will allow you to breathe comfortably underwater. You’ll be guided by a professional snorkeling instructor, who will ensure that you’re safe and comfortable throughout the experience.

As you swim through the narrow fissure between the tectonic plates, you’ll be amazed by the unique rock formations that surround you. You’ll pass through different chambers, each with its own geological features, and you’ll see a variety of underwater flora and fauna. You might even catch a glimpse of a freshwater jellyfish, which is unique to this area.

At the conclusion of your tour, you will enjoy a friendly chat with the guides over a warm cup of hot chocolate and cookies. Don’t fret about the photos – they will be sent to your registered email after the tour. Rest assured, there’s no need to feel skeptical about the dive. Our highly trained guides will supervise and support you throughout the dive, ensuring that you can fully explore the fissure in its natural wonder.
