Itinerary
Reykjavík – Morning Pickup (Allow up to 30 minutes)
Your day begins with convenient pickup from your chosen location in Reykjavík. Meet your friendly guide and fellow travelers as you board a comfortable minibus equipped with free WiFi and panoramic windows. As you leave the city behind, your guide will share fascinating stories about Icelandic nature, folklore, and the Golden Circle.
Thingvellir National Park – Walk Between Continents
Our first stop is Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a place of immense geological and historical significance.
Walk along the Álmannagjá fault, where you can literally step between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. This unique rift valley is also the birthplace of Iceland’s democracy—home to the world’s first parliament, established in 930 AD.
Take your time to stroll along scenic walking paths, gaze at the crystal-clear waters of Silfra fissure, and take in panoramic views of this volcanic wonderland.

Gullfoss – The Golden Waterfall
Next, we head to the thundering cascades of Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic natural sights.
Feel the spray of glacial meltwater as it plunges down two dramatic tiers into a rugged canyon carved by the Hvítá River. On sunny days, you might catch a rainbow dancing over the mist.
Your guide will lead you to the best viewpoints and share insight into the waterfall’s origin and seasonal variations—including the spring melt, when up to 2,000 cubic meters of water surge over the falls every second.

Geysir Geothermal Area – Witness the Eruption of Strokkur
Continue to the Haukadalur Valley, where geothermal energy rises in a spectacular display of steam and boiling water.
Walk past steaming vents, colorful mineral deposits, and bubbling hot springs until you reach Strokkur, a powerful geyser that erupts every 5 to 10 minutes, shooting water up to 20 meters (65 feet) into the air.
Don’t forget to have your camera ready! Nearby lies Geysir, the now-dormant giant that gave its name to all geysers worldwide.

Optional Lunch Stop (varies by season and location)
Depending on timing and group pace, we’ll stop at a charming countryside café or farm shop where you can purchase lunch or snacks. Try a bowl of hot soup, fresh-baked bread, or locally made skyr (Icelandic yogurt).
Laugarás Lagoon – Soak in Iceland’s Newest Geothermal Spa
Now it’s time to relax. We’ll take a scenic drive to the peaceful countryside location of Laugarás Lagoon, nestled beside the Hvítá River.
This geothermal spa is set to open in August 2025, and you’ll be among the first to experience its magic. Your Lerki ticket includes a towel and one free drink at the in-lagoon swim-up bar.
Soak in the 37°C waters surrounded by nature, alternate between the warm pool and the cold plunge, and enjoy the unique waterfall feature and two saunas. Whether you want to socialize, sip a drink, or find quiet solitude, this lagoon offers the perfect atmosphere to end the day.

Return to Reykjavík – Scenic Drive & Drop-Off
After your rejuvenating soak, we return to Reykjavík. Enjoy a relaxing drive back through Iceland’s countryside. Your guide will answer any final questions and offer suggestions for the rest of your stay in Iceland.
You’ll be dropped off at your original pickup location, feeling relaxed, refreshed, and filled with unforgettable memories from the Golden Circle.
