Itinerary
Your day begins with a morning pick-up in Reykjavik by our friendly and seasoned guide. Our intimate group size ensures a personalized and comfortable experience as we set out for a day of exploration.
Seljalandsfoss waterfall
First on the itinerary is the awe-inspiring Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, standing over sixty meters tall. Marvel at its unique curve that allows you to walk behind the falls, providing a picturesque backdrop for unforgettable photographs.
Skógafoss waterfall
Continue your adventure to the majestic Skogafoss waterfall, a grand spectacle that dwarfs its counterparts in width and power. Feel the mist as you approach the falls, and, weather permitting, catch a glimpse of the famous Eyjafjallajokull glacier and volcano that made headlines in 2010.
Sólheimajokull Glacier
Journey to Solheimajokull, a captivating glacier tongue originating from the massive ice cap Myrdalsjokull, covering the mighty Katla volcano. A short walk from the parking lot unveils a stunning viewpoint to admire the glacier’s grandeur.
Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
Next, we arrive at Reynisfjara black sand beach, celebrated for its eerie beauty and dramatic geology. Witness the photogenic hexagonal basalt columns and, in summer, keep an eye out for puffins perched on the cliffs.
When visiting Reynisfjara you need to be very careful. The waves on this beach can be strong and dangerous. Always follow the safety advice of your guide while visiting the beach.
Sólheimajökull Glacier
Vik, the southernmost village of Iceland, is our furthest stop, featuring mesmerizing sea stacks along the beach. Legend has it that these stacks are the frozen figures of trolls turned to stone while playing in the sea.

- Order or availability of attractions may change due to road or weather conditions.
- This tour includes a pick up from Reykjavik. You can see the designated pick up locations in the drop down menu when booking.
- Pick up is from designated locations in Reykjavík on a drop-down menu at the time of booking. Pick up is not available from Keflavik airport or outside of the greater capital area.
- There is no food included on this tour but there will be stops where you are able to purchase food.
- All departures require a minimum number of participants in order to operate; 4 adults.
- This tour is perfect for groups, single travelers and families.
- Solheimajokull glacier is a 15-20 minutes walk from the parking. We recommend waring comfortable shoes.
- In the rare case that we need to cancel the tour because of extreme weather, road conditions or other factors, we will assist you with rebooking to another date. If that does not work out for you, you will receive a full refund for the tour.
