About Tour
Step aboard our fully equipped vessel for an unforgettable whale watching excursion departing from Ísafjörður, venturing into the majestic Ísafjarðardjúp fjord. With keen eyes scanning the horizon, our seasoned captain guides us towards sightings of distant whales, ensuring a respectful approach to their natural habitat. In this thriving fjord ecosystem, encounters with humpback and minke whales, alongside playful dolphins and porpoises, are commonplace.
Keep your camera ready for the remarkable sight of humpback whales flashing their tails as they dive—a spectacle not to be missed! Marvel at the playful puffins nesting on the nearby Vigur and Æðey islands, adding to the rich tapestry of marine life.
Accompanying us are experienced crew members and knowledgeable guides, eager to share insights into the local wildlife and surroundings. As stewards of conservation, we actively contribute to ongoing research on whale populations by encouraging guests to capture photos of whale flukes for identification purposes.
While our success rate in spotting whales is typically high, sightings are subject to the unpredictable nature of wildlife. Join us for an immersive journey into the wonders of Ísafjörður’s marine world, where each moment holds the promise of extraordinary encounters with these magnificent creatures.
