About The Beer Bath Spa in Iceland
The Bjorbodin spa brings you a combination of several activities in a single hub. With seven kers, up to 14 people can take a bath at a time for an intimate and personalized experience. There isn’t any age limit, and while the beer isn’t drinkable for the bath, you can have a refreshing experience in the kers.
A restaurant and bar are awaiting you to indulge in various cold brews and delights. The simple layout and minimalist approach give it a touch of elegance and sophistication that you will end up admiring Iceland’s weather and the panoramic landscape that surrounds Bjorbodin. The delicious exquisites and exotic brews await your feast in the restaurant and bar.
Apart from the beer spa, you can enjoy a rejuvenating outdoor bath in the barrels with the backdrop of glacier mountains and exotic hot tubs. You can enjoy the beer as you relax in the open skies and weather for the day. After a spa day, you can make soaps, gift certificates, and much more from the place as souvenirs or gifts for your loved ones.
The Tour Itinerary
You can book the admission ticket and arrive at Bjorbodin to have an enchanting experience of the beer spa. There isn’t a pickup option available, so you will have to reach the location by yourself.
Once you arrive at Bjorbodin, you can provide the ticket for the tour to begin. You will get the baths set up according to your preference, whether you chose a single or a couple’s bath. The full bath will last around an hour for you, but it is not advised to take a bath or shower after the beer bath to let the goodness reach deeper into the body. After the beer spa, you will have time to enjoy the restaurant and bar. If you’d like, you can also opt for an outdoor bath set up to enjoy it in the evening. As there aren’t any accommodations, you will have to prepare for these by yourself or leave by the evening after the timings end for the day.
If you like, you can get souvenirs or return the next day to enjoy once again. However, one should suffice. It is a great experience and a dream come true to bath in beer for its positive effects on the body.
