Then you will board the monster truck that will take you up the mountain where the base is located which will be like a pre-dose of thrill before you start with the main action of the tour itself. After getting to the base, your guide will tell you about the necessary rules, regulations, and some necessary things about operating the snowmobiles. When all is set, you will be ready to pull the throttle and ride the wind along with the glacier. Your ride will last for about 2 hours. You will have to bring your driving license to be eligible to drive the snowmobiles. An international license is not required in Iceland. Any nationally authorized vehicle license will work. Just make sure that your license is in English and if it is in your national language then remember to bring an English translation.
