About Tour

One of the most spectacular places in Iceland includes the Mývatn Nature Baths. It is a set of geothermally heated pools, located in the Lake Mývatn Area in north Icleand, perfectly depicting Iceland’s hot spring culture. It is nearly 2 km east of the village of Reykjahlíð.

With marvelously stunning panoramic views that are dotted with shades of blue, gray, or sometimes golden brown, the Myvatn Nature Bath gives you a true Icelandic environment to enjoy in. The serene and unforgettable splendor of the Northern Lights “Aurora”, awaits you if you visit in winters. The Myvatn Nature Geothermal Spa draws centuries-old tradition, the sophisticatedly designed pool and bath complex, offering the bathers a natural experience, beginning with a relaxing dip amid the clouds of rising steam from a crevice, deep in the surface of Earth and ending with a dip in the geothermal water pool, drawn from depths of up to -2.500m. Apart from this, since Mývatn Nature Baths are located near large craters with about 97 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit (36 to 40 degrees Celsius). The water here is infused with mineral and specifically Sulphur that is considered to be good for skin and respiratory problems.
