The pool has an approximate size of 8.5*5 meters, while it has a maximum depth of approximately 50 cm, thus giving you the optimum conditions to have a dip while enjoying the Icelandic highlands too.

This will surely make your ride safe and less tiring. After reaching the nearby place, the nearest road of the Strútslaug Hot Spring, from there you would have to cover the distance to the springs on your own, a long walk amidst the lush green surroundings and glaciers, it will take approximately 1-1,5 hour hike to reach the springs. The hike to reach the hot springs starts from Strútsskáli, which is a small mountain cabin, located in the central highlands.
When you reach the place, you will notice the pools, located by the riverbank, overlooking the mesmerizing landscapes, huge moss, and the grass-covered glacier, indeed breathtaking view!
