Main Attractions of the Tour

Snowmobiling

Posing a contrast to activities like taking a dip in the hot springs of the country or diving into the ocean, snowmobiling is one of the many representatives of the group of adventure activities of Iceland. Also known as motor sleds or all-terrain vehicles, a snowmobile will have you glide on the snow effortlessly. With rubber tracks in place of wheels, snowmobiles can be ridden by anyone and driven by the ones holding a valid license. Your driving license does not have to be international. A national license in English or with a valid English translation will make you more than eligible to drive these monsters of vehicles. The gear required for the ride, which includes overalls, gloves, helmet, glasses, and overshoes, will be provided to you when you get to the location. All you need to do is step into your overalls, gear up and head on to conquer the glacier.

Super Jeep Ride

Not only that you will be covering the lengths of Langjökull glacier riding on one of the most popular adventure vehicles out there, you will also get to your destination in style. As you are picked up from your pick-up location in Reykjavik, you will drive to Gullfoss waterfall in a minibus. You will meet the glacier and snowmobile guide and be taken up to Langjokull glaciper in a powerful super jeep. Riding the super jeep is on the bucket list of every single adventurer traveling to Iceland. So, take this chance and cross two things off your list with ease – snowmobiling and super jeep.

Langjokull glacier

Langjökull Glacier is the second-largest glacier in Iceland is also known as the “long glacier”. The glacier is spread across an area of 953 km2 and features a 500-meter-thick sheet of ice. The glacier is one of the most popular ones among adventurers due to the difficulty level of the hikes that it has and its location in the highlands. The long spread area of this glacier is what makes it the ideal place for activities like snowmobiling.
