This hot spring is located at the end of Highway 635, near the farm of Bær, just north of the fjords.

The temperature of the hot spring can vary depending upon the weather conditions. This is a cozy and relaxing hot spring that has some outdoor changing facilities available. There is a small house, located next to the spring and that can be used for changing.

It was years ago when a fishing company drilled in the surrounding area that led to the blockage of the flow to the pool. Then it was at that time, they fixed the same and used a hose to keep the flow continuous from its natural hot spring source. The water now comes through the pipe, directly from the spring.

When driving towards Nauteyrarlaug Hot Spring, take road 635 and continue to drive past the Nauteyrarkirkja church until you spot and reach the salmon farm. From there, you can take the left turn, after the farm, and you will reach Nauteyrarlaug hot tub approximately, 20-30 meters. It is recommended to carry your own eateries, and other essentials, as this place is in a remote area and no other food facilities are available. So, have a relaxing time with your friends and family, having a dip at the Nauteyrarlaug hot spring and tub.
