If you are coming from the west part or tip of the Snæfellnes Peninsula, driving the road Útnesvegur Nr. 574, you will cross the tiny village Hellissandur and then the Rif. There is a sign and a road on your right that will lead you to the waterfall Svöðufoss just after you pass the Rif. There are not many guided tours that will take you to Svöðufoss waterfall but you can choose to go on a private tour and ask the tour guide to stop here. Svöðufoss is also the perfect location for your self drive around Snæfellsnes. This way you can spend as long time as you want by the waterfall. A two-wheel-drive car is an ideal option to rent with a group of friends.

Snæfellsnes Peninsula is an expansive spot to explore. You would find here all sorts of indulgences.
